This weekend I had the pleasure of working with an amazing group of women - including an amazing bride, Ellen, as they prepared for her wedding celebration. Ellen wore a gorgeous crisp white, silk, curve-hugging gown that was only accentuated by the striking navy dresses of her attendants. With a mix of swept-up locks and polished Hollywood-wave down-dos, each woman had the opportunity to look individual. Overall, these individual looks created a feeling of sophistication and natural glam. The bride was elegant and radiant - perfect for the ceremony and reception at Chicago's lovely Ivy Room. Ooh-la-la! I snapped a few quick photos before wrapping up so that I could share some of my favorite looks with you here!
The Bridal Makeup:
Eyes: contour - MAC eyeshadow in Wedge and Cork, lid - MAC eyeshadow in Satin Taupe (one of my absolute favorite single eye colors...a shimmering violet gray), corners and lower lash line - MAC eyeshadow in Carbon and Wedge. Mascara is NYX Doll Eyes in Waterproof.
Skin: prepped with Urban Decay's All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray and Arbonne Makeup Primer, Belloccio Airbrush Foundation, MAC Select Cover Concealer. Highlighted with MAC's gorgeous StereoRose and Soft & Gentle. Bronzed and Sculpted with MaryKay Bronzing Powder in Light-Medium. Cheeks are a bright mix of MAC Melba and Pinch O' Peach blushers. Finished with NYX HD Photogenic Translucent Finishing Powder.
Lips: MAC Boldy Bare pencil, NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Istanbul.
What do you think of the look?!
