This past weekend, I had the pleasure of working with another beautiful Bride for her rehearsal dinner and wedding beauty looks. From the moment we met, we had a great connection. Lauren is a girl who loves fashion and can really pull off any makeup look easily, but her desired look for the wedding events were to be dramatic eyes paired with a neutral lip. Her look for the rehearsal dinner was dramatic and smoldering - building up layers of diffused shadows around the eyes in shadows of deep berry, warm caramel brown, and dark warm black tones close to the lashes. To get the blackest of black definition along the lashes - I turned to my newest favorite - Charlotte Tilbury's Rock N Kohl in Bedroom Black. This pencil moves like butter across the lid with the level of deep dark black that is similar to a gel liner or liquid pen. We paired one of Charlotte Tilbury's lip colors, Luminous Matte formula in Very Victoria, for a bronzey-nude lip that wouldn't conflict with the eyes, yet still providing some color.
For the Bridal look, we toned down the eyes slightly. Keeping an all-matte color palette of browns and taupes with Ardell Lashes in the style Wispies, the eyes are still dramatic without being overpowering. Lips are a soft cool-toned nude/pink in the color Terribly Nude #100, BY TERRY. For both looks, I defined the brows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown. Key Products used for Lauren's glowing bronzed skin - MAC Face & Body Foundation in C2/N5, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Stereorose and Soft and Gentle, NARS Laguna Bronzer. #LOVE the result of this makeup collaboration between the Bride and myself - CONGRATS LAUREN & JOSH xo
